Field Service Engineer (remote and field based) £35k -£41k
Our client is a market leading company and one of the fastest growing businesses in the Midlands. They are looking for Field Service Engineers who will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and software training plus ongoing maintenance of the equipment they provide to a lot of manufacturing and production companies.
The role would suit Field Service Engineer, Multi-skilled Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Electrical Engineer who has worked within manufacturing, production, logistics and or Distribution previously and is familiar with coding, labelling and print solutions technology.

Field Service Engineer duties:
• Providing field based and remote technical support to customers and colleagues in line with relevant training and experience
• Carrying out corrective, preventative, installation and field change order activities
• Diagnosing mechanical, hardware and software system failures using established procedures and information
• Determining most cost effective repair/solution to minimize customer downtime
Field Service Engineer requirements:
• Ideally educated to degree level in Mechanical /Electrical Engineering and or City and Guilds Mechanical Manufacturing/Electrical qualifications
• Experience within in a similar Field Service engineering role previously
• Exposure to production or manufacturing of coding, labelling and print solutions technology highly beneficial
• Working knowledge of SAP and other ERP/MRP systems
• Good all round IT skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Highly organised, efficient and able to deliver results even under pressure
