A high end brand in Nottingham was having trouble gaining staff suitable for their customer delivery roles. In particular staff turning up looking scruffy, not being capable of the work required and not presenting the company in the way they needed to be represented. This sometimes resulted in customer complaints and missed deliveries. Requirements could vary and they needed a recruitment supplier that could respond to their fluctuating requirements at short notice with quality staff.
Robertson Recruitment went in to the site, conducted a full analysis and then planned a recruitment service that would meet our client needs. Together with the site we organised a recruitment campaign that attracted the right standard of people. Each candidate was fully vetted via face to face interviews followed by onsite inductions to build a pool of labour that was capable of doing the work. Candidates who would represent the client in the correct fashion.
By working closely with the client Robertson Recruitment was able to understand their busy periods and pre-empt any spikes in requirements by bolstering our pool of inducted staff at the right times. Where reliability is key we was able to have pre inducted backup staff ready to respond for sickness cover and extra requirements within the hour.
After starting supply as a bit part supplier some years ago we went on to take a higher and higher percentage of the work until we became the sole supplier. Some years later we are still the sole supplier and still meet all of our customer’s key needs. Over time we reduced the need to constantly train replacement staff whilst making sure they always had the right number of inducted people to do the work avoiding any failed deliveries and customer complaints.
A well-known manufacturing company was having issues with its incumbent supplier when they were struggling to find suitable skills for their CNC roles.

Helping our client increase production and reduce the need for training saving time and money.
